Blue eyes that smile
The wonder of a nine-year old
with a heart that holds no guile
Facing a world that is reeling
From the deadly fall
That is drunken on the iniquity
That takes it's toll on us all
Even though its tragic
I still can smile
For rabbit eyes and sunsets
In the eyes of my dear child
Beautiful. Children are so soon come from Heaven they teach us again what is precious. May you continue to enjoy your little one.

The poem is a bit less, er, vivid than I had imagined -- probably a good thing. :-) The sentiments expressed are spot on. The bottom photo is sweet -- and that rabbit eye, wow. So that's what will happen if we let our dachshund get a hold of that rabbit in the backyard!
